Closed-System Colon Hydrotherapy
Coming Summer 2026
At Soma Restorative Wellness, our nervous system-informed colon hydrotherapy sessions are designed to support digestive flow, gut health, and whole-body restoration in a calm, supportive environment.
We believe that true healing occurs when the body feels safe. That's why our approach goes beyond digestion and elimination to support the connection between the gut, nervous system, and overall well-being.
Rather than focusing solely on detoxification, our sessions are designed to encourage relaxation, awareness, and restoration while supporting the body's natural processes. Through a gentle, client-centered approach, we create an experience that helps clients feel more regulated, supported, and connected to their health.
Keri Berardinelli, BCCHT, is a Board-Certified Colon Hydrotherapist with additional training in holistic nutrition, quantum biology, biofeedback, somatic facial therapy, aromatherapy, and elemental reflexology.
Her approach reflects a unique understanding of the relationship between digestive health, stress recovery, and nervous system regulation.
This next chapter of colon hydrotherapy is rooted not only in Keri's professional experience, but also in her personal journey of healing that revealed the profound role the nervous system plays in restoration and long-term wellness.
Why Choose Colon Hydrotherapy?
✔ The Gut-Nervous System Connection
The digestive system and nervous system are intimately connected. When the body is under chronic stress, digestive function and elimination often suffer. Colon hydrotherapy can help support greater ease, comfort, and awareness within the body.
✔ Restore Flow & Reduce Stagnation
Many clients report feeling lighter, more comfortable, and more at ease after a session. Supporting healthy elimination may help restore a greater sense of flow throughout the body.
✔ A Calming, Supportive Experience
Our nervous system-informed approach prioritizes comfort, relaxation, and feeling safe throughout the session. When the body relaxes, it is often better able to restore balance and function naturally.
✔ Support Digestive Wellness
Healthy elimination plays an important role in overall wellness. Colon hydrotherapy may support digestive comfort, regularity, and a greater sense of well-being.
✔ A Holistic Approach to Restoration
Each session is informed by a broader understanding of nutrition, lifestyle, stress, circadian health, and the interconnected nature of the body.
✔ Feel More Connected to Your Body
Many clients leave with a renewed awareness of how stress, digestion, lifestyle habits, and daily choices influence how they feel. This awareness often becomes the foundation for meaningful, lasting change.

FAQ's
Colon Hydrotherapy is a safe, effective method of removing waste from the large intestine. By introducing a small amount of temperature-regulated water into the colon, the waste is softened and loosened, resulting in evacualtion through natural peristalsis. This process is repeated a few times during a session.
Absolutely. At Soma Restorative Wellness, your comfort and safety are our top priorities. We use FDA-registered, state-of-the-art equipment featuring a 3-stage water filtration system, backflow prevention valves, internal sanitation protocols, and built-in temperature and pressure sensors for optimal control.
Every session is conducted using sterile, single-use disposable rectal speculums — ensuring the highest standard of hygiene for each client.
Colon hydrotherapy is most effective when supported by daily habits that promote regulation, restoration, and digestive health. To help maximize the benefits of your session, we encourage:
• Staying well hydrated and nourishing the body with nutrient-dense foods
• Supporting circadian health through consistent sleep, meal timing, and healthy daily rhythms
• Gentle movement, walking, stretching, or regular exercise to encourage circulation and healthy elimination
• Stress-reducing practices such as time in nature, morning sunlight exposure, breathwork, prayer, meditation, or other activities that help calm and regulate the nervous system
These foundational lifestyle practices not only support digestive wellness and healthy elimination, but also contribute to a more resilient nervous system, balanced microbiome, and greater overall vitality.
At Soma Restorative Wellness, we recognize that the digestive system and nervous system are deeply interconnected. Stress, tension, and chronic overwhelm can influence digestion, elimination, and overall well-being.
Our approach prioritizes comfort, relaxation, and honoring the body's natural processes. Rather than taking a "more is better" approach to cleansing, we focus on supporting healthy digestive function at a slower pace that feels appropriate for each individual.
We do not believe in aggressive detoxification or recommending excessive sessions without a clear reason. Instead, our goal is to help clients support flow, restoration, and healthy elimination while respecting the body's innate wisdom and capacity for healing.
To create a more supportive experience, sessions may incorporate elements such as breath awareness, aromatherapy, gentle lymphatic support, and other restorative practices designed to help clients feel calm, comfortable, and connected throughout the session.
Our philosophy is simple: when the body feels safe and supported, it functions more efficiently. By supporting both the gut and the nervous system, many clients experience a greater sense of ease, balance, and overall well-being.
Board certification demonstrates an advanced level of education, clinical knowledge, and commitment to professional standards within the field of colon hydrotherapy.
As a Board-Certified Colon Hydrotherapist (BCCHT), Keri Berardinelli has successfully completed additional training, examination requirements, and continuing education beyond foundational certification. This credential reflects a commitment to providing safe, ethical, and informed care while staying current with industry standards and best practices.
For clients, board certification offers an added level of confidence that they are working with a practitioner who has pursued advanced professional development and demonstrated competency within the profession.
Every individual is different. While many new clients begin with a series of three sessions, recommendations are based on personal health history, goals, lifestyle, and how the body responds. Our approach emphasizes gradual restoration and individualized care rather than a one-size-fits-all treatment plan.
